Conversational Evangelism Track at
the National Outreach Convention in San Diego

• Todd Hunter opened by introducing The New Cultural Context for Conversation, followed by a panel discussion with the team.
  

• Lee Strobel spoke next on Conversational Apologetics in a Postmodern World, helping attendees learn to address truth issues conversationally, with graciousness and the leading of the Holy Spirit.
  

• Mark Mittelberg followed with Conversations and Connections in a Changing Culture, a valuable teaching on how to bridge the ever-widening cultural gap between the churched and unchurched.
  

• Richard Peace taught on The Holy Conversation Project, how to talk about God in everyday life, and gave attendees an opportunity to practice what they were learning.
  

• Gary Poole’s session, Seeker Small Groups – Engaging Spiritual Seekers in Life-Changing Conversations, gave attendees a chance to learn about conversational evangelism from the seeker’s point of view.
  

• Garry interviewed a panel of seekers who had come to faith in Seeker Small Groups/Alphas. They spoke honestly of their anxieties and reservations, and their experiences of safe conversation in a loving community.
  

• Hunter concluded with Alpha at a Glance which introduced The Alpha Course.
