Alpha USA Chairman David Segel Announces New Role for Todd Hunter

Dear Alpha Family and Friends,

 

We are writing to announce an important transition in the management function of Alpha USA:

 

On April 1, 2008, Todd Hunter's role changed from his full time leadership of the Alpha Regional Leadership Team and the Church Network, to a part time consultancy role with Alpha. He'll still function in his active role of promoting Alpha, teaching on Alpha's practices, building relationships and advising the organization on strategy. However, as an executive function, he has switched to a part-time consultancy relationship with Alpha USA while remaining on the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of the ministry.

 

As a result of this change, Gerard Long's role will increase in responsibility, as he will have executive responsibility for Alpha USA as a ministry and its national services.

 

This change will allow Todd to continue to work in his area of strength within Alpha USA but will also enable him to develop his writing, speaking and ministry in the areas of conversational evangelism and 21st century church. It also gives more clarity around the leadership/management function of Alpha USA and allows Gerard to help us grow the ministry with unified support from the constituent parts of the organization.
