Team Alpha is a fun way to support Alpha in your area. Teams from different churches running Alpha courses enter events (5Ks - marathons - hikes - bike rides) to help raise the visibility of Alpha, invite people to courses and raise funds for their regional team or a specialty ministry (e.g. campus, youth, prisons, etc.).

 I loved it!!! I loved being part of a team and cheering each other to keep going, even when it was getting hard...(just like life, encouraging each other to keep going) I was able to run with 3 different people I didn't know and had good conversation, one of them asked what Alpha was, and I was able to share with them. After the run, someone that wasn't a believer came up to me and asked me to share my story with them. How I came to know God. So I shared my story and the hope and peace that is found in Jesus. This same man talked to someone in the 5k and they shared Jesus with him too. That divine appt made this whole training and run worth it!!! I can't wait to run with eternal purpose again!!!
